Application for registration.—Every foreign portfolio investor carrying on investment in securities by a foreign portfolio investor shall make an application for registration to the Recognised Stock Exchange in Form D, within seven days of the commencement of these regulations, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees and a statement of every disclosure held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
