Regulation 2, SEBI (Appeals of Foreign portfolio investors) Regulations, 2023 [S56-AJH]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992); (b) "foreign portfolio investor" means a person carrying on investment in securities by a foreign portfolio investor; (c) "order" means a order received, held or disposed of by a foreign portfolio investor in the course of investment in securities by a foreign portfolio investor; (d) "Form H" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
