Application for registration.—Every registered proprietor of a design carrying on the application of a registered design shall make an application for registration to the Appellate Board in Form 2, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty thousand rupees and a statement of every patent held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three hundred and sixty-five days from that date.
