Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the generator of hazardous waste shall apply to the Environmental Appellate Authority in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Environmental Appellate Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
