Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the overseas investor shall apply to the Reserve Bank in Form ANF-5A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Reserve Bank shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
