Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the specialised adoption agency shall apply to the Child Welfare Committee in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Child Welfare Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
