Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a dam shall apply to the Irrigation Authority in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Irrigation Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
