Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any policy-holder dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Andhra Pradesh in Form IRDA-2, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of insurance then held; and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall enter the intimation in the register within thirty days of its receipt.
