Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the director shall apply to the Government of Assam in Form INC-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Government of Assam shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
