Application for registration.—Every holder of benami property carrying on the holding of property in the name of another shall make an application for registration to the Sub-Registrar in Form 4, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees and a statement of every plan of the land held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
