Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the representative assessee shall apply to the Board in Form 35 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
