Application for registration.—Every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall make an application for registration to the Inspector General of Registration in Form E, within ninety days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees and a statement of every stock of stamps held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
