Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the collector of biological resources shall apply to the Biodiversity Authority in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Biodiversity Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
