Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the fit person shall apply to the Committee in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
