Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person carrying on business shall apply to the Director of Industries in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Director of Industries shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
