Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a dam shall apply to the District Authority in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the District Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one day of the application.
