Surrender of certificate.—Every exporter who ceases to carry on the export of goods shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Reserve Bank in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form FC-4 of the manner in which every importer-exporter code held by him has been disposed of.
