Surrender of certificate.—Every holder of land who ceases to carry on the holding of land assessed to revenue shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Tahsildar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 3 of the manner in which every record of rights held by him has been disposed of.
