Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the court receiver shall apply to the Taxing Officer in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Taxing Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
