Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the foreign portfolio investor shall apply to the Investor Protection Fund Trust in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Investor Protection Fund Trust shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
