Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the repairer of weights and measures shall apply to the Central Authority in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Central Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
