Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of an advance authorisation shall apply to the Government of Puducherry in Form FC-4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Government of Puducherry shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
