Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Appellate Tribunal in the custody of the Valuation Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Appellate Tribunal; and where the Valuation Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 26Q within twenty-one days of the succession.
