Correction of entries.—The District Election Officer may, on an application made in Form 12 by any owner of a vehicle used for election purposes or of its own motion, correct any clerical or arithmetical error in the register or in a certificate of registration, after giving notice of not less than sixty days to any person likely to be affected by the correction.
