Application for registration.—Every owner of a vehicle used for election purposes carrying on the use of vehicles for election purposes shall make an application for registration to the District Election Officer in Form 26, within three days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees and a statement of every advertisement held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three days from that date.
