Rule 4, Water Resources Department (Deputy Divisional Canal Officer) Recruitment Rules, 2016 [S4S-P4M]

Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Deputy Divisional Canal Officer in the Water Resources Department, Government of Karnataka shall be fifty per cent. by direct recruitment and fifty per cent. by promotion; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognised institution with five years' experience.
