Application for registration.—Every importer of goods bearing a mark carrying on the import of goods bearing a registered mark shall make an application for registration to the Registrar in Form 2, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees and a statement of every work held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
