Safe custody.—Every mine surveyor shall keep every sample of ore to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the survey of mines is carried on, shall record in Form F the description of every sample of ore so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the State Government within one hundred and twenty days of the close of each year.
