Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any requisitioned property owner dies, his legal representative shall, within three hundred and sixty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Sub-Registrar in Form 8, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every document then held; and the Sub-Registrar shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
