Surrender of certificate.—Every insurance intermediary who ceases to carry on the business of an insurance intermediary shall, within fifteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Securities Appellate Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-5 of the manner in which every register of policies held by him has been disposed of.
