Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the asset reconstruction company shall apply to the Deposit Insurance Corporation in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
