Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the publisher shall apply to the Copyright Board in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Copyright Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
