Application for registration.—Every publisher carrying on the publication of literary works shall make an application for registration to the Copyright Board in Form 18, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees and a statement of every application held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
