Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the social media intermediary shall apply to the Data Protection Board in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Data Protection Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
