Surrender of certificate.—Every social media intermediary who ceases to carry on the provision of a social media service shall, within fifteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Data Protection Board in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form A of the manner in which every register of users held by him has been disposed of.
