Application for registration.—Every publisher carrying on the publication of literary works shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 3, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of four thousand rupees and a statement of every geographical indication held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
