Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973 (West Bengal Act 41 of 1973); (b) "keeper of a village shop" means a person carrying on the keeping of a village shop; (c) "licence" means a licence received, held or disposed of by a keeper of a village shop in the course of the keeping of a village shop; (d) "Form 6" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
