Application for registration.—Every developer carrying on the development of a Special Economic Zone shall make an application for registration to the Export Promotion Council in Form SEZ-1, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every register of imports held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
