Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any lessee of defence land dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Punjab in Form B, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the Government of Punjab shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
