Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961); (b) "contract farming sponsor" means a person carrying on the sponsoring of contract farming; (c) "society" means a society received, held or disposed of by a contract farming sponsor in the course of the sponsoring of contract farming; (d) "Form A" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
