Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a ferry shall apply to the Director of Panchayats in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Director of Panchayats shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
