Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the gratuity trust shall apply to the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
