Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person subject to an inquiry shall apply to the Nodal Authority in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Nodal Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
