Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any banker issuing instruments dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and eighty days of the death, intimate the death to the State Government in Form B, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every stock of stamps then held; and the State Government shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
