Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of a composite licence shall apply to the Controller General in Form J for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Controller General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
