Application for registration.—Every person executing an instrument carrying on the execution of instruments shall make an application for registration to the Sub-Registrar in Form B, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees and a statement of every franking impression held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
