Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person resident in India shall apply to the Export Inspection Council in Form SEZ-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Export Inspection Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
