Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Director of Tourism in the custody of the Deputy Superintending Archaeologist, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Director of Tourism; and where the Deputy Superintending Archaeologist having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VIII within fifteen days of the succession.
