Application for registration.—Every owner of an inland vessel carrying on the plying of an inland vessel shall make an application for registration to the Inland Waterways Authority in Form 6, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees and a statement of every log book held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
