Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the company issuing shares shall apply to the Inspector General of Registration in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Inspector General of Registration shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
